Rich Bland
Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) Director of Instruction

Hours: Thursday and Saturday, 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. or by appointment

A professional golfer for over 40 years, Rich Bland has won numerous events since beginning competitive golf as a junior player.  In addition to Sunnyvale's courses, he has worked at Sunol Valley Golf Course, Sea Ranch, and taught at John Jacobs Golf Schools.  As a player, he has qualified for PGA National Senior Championship.  As an instructor, he has been awarded the PGA's Junior Golf Leader Award, with 17 of his juniors earning golf scholarships at major universities. 
 
 

Haeyoung Lee
Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) 
Class A member

Hours:  Thursday through Sunday by appointment.

A PGA Class A member since 2007, Haeyoung Lee joined Sunnyvale Golf team in September 2017.  He was on the New Mexico State University Golf Team for four years and actively competed in numerous golf tournaments.  Throughout his golf club professional career, he developed a passion for teaching all levels of golfers.  Prior to joining Sunnyvale Golf team, Haeyoung was the Director of Golf at Coyote Creek Golf Course.
 
 

Terry Meyers
Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA)
Class A member

Hours: By appointment only

A golf professional since 1983 and a Class A PGA Member since 1992, Terry has given over 40,000 lessons during his teaching career. Terry has recently worked at Santa Clara Golf and Tennis Club, Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland and Almaden Country Club. He authored a book in 1999 titled: Take Control of Your Game, A learning guide for simple and consistent golf. Terry still plays competitively in the Northern California PGA club professional tournaments. 
 
 

Kate Lee
Ladies Professional Golfers' Association of America (LPGA)
Class B member

Hours: By appointment only

Kate Lee has been a golf instructor since 2012 and became a LPGA Golf Professional in July 2017. Kate has 400+ hours of teaching experience with her primary focus being women and juniors. She enjoys using creative teaching techniques, to make sure each student is fully engaged in the learning process. Kate speaks fluent Korean and English as a second language.
